I posted this at the end of my recap/links post on Tuesday but because it was at the bottom I am guessing not many people actually read my request so here it goes again.
I would like to expand the amount of content on this blog and the frequency at which it is posted. This is something I can’t accomplish myself so I am looking for help. If anyone is interested in contributing content to this blog, please send me an e-mail at admin (at) freedominsider (dot) com or through the contact form on this site.
I am mainly looking for someone to post previews and recaps of the matches but the role would not be limited to that. If you or anyone you know is interested let me know. Also, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
WPS has launched its long awaited fantasy game and Freedom Insider has set up a league. If you think you have what it takes to compete against me and other Freedom fans, join my league and show me what you’ve got. Anyone interested in joining needs to let me know by either a DM on Twitter (@FreedomInsider), a comment on this post or by e-mail through the contact page so that I can get you the password to join the league.
This should be fun and I look forward to all taking on all challengers. Good luck.
I apologize for my lack of presence here lately but with preseason now underway, I wanted to let everyone know I will be around a lot more frequently.
I have been asked about the Roster Tracker and here is the deal – teams are supposed to be announcing their preseason rosters of 28 at some point today so I am going to work to have the Roster Tracker up to date at some point tomorrow.
I don’t know about you but I am glad the offseason is finally over – let’s get some soccer going. Don’t be a stranger.
Just a quick post to let everyone know that I will not have the ability to post for the rest of the week. A family emergency has come up that will prevent me from posting for the rest of the week. Look for me to catch up with anything that can and does happen next Monday.
In the meantime, have a safe Halloween.
With multiple roster moves taking place this week in WPS, I decided it would be a good idea to find some way to track how the rosters are starting to shake out for 2010. While me writing about putting together an excel spreadsheet may not sound blog worthy, I have decided that I would post the sheet for anyone to download.
It is still pretty basic right now but I think it does a good job of showing what the teams are looking like at this point in time. It also shows how many players are still on the market. I have made the link to the spreadsheet a permanent page on the site and will update it once a week (given there are actual moves to update it with).
Let me admit upfront that there is a secondary reason for posting this spreadsheet, I want feedback on what else should be included on the sheet. To give a sense of how dramatic some of the changes have been, I have included last year’s final cut down rosters on top, followed by what the rosters look like as of yesterday. I have a color coded key at the bottom explaining the system.
So, if you find something to be confusing or if you have a suggestion on how to make the spreadsheet more useful, please either post a comment below or e-mail me your suggestion.
